Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron
Allison Stokke has been a pole vaulter for more than 20 years. Her birth date was the 22nd of March, 1989, in Newport Beach California. A photo of her track meets at 17 was a viral hit in 2007. It made her a pole vaulter. Instagram and Twitter have become her biggest social media platforms. Stokke is a track and field player similar to Jessica Ennis Hill. The Los Angeles Times among others that Stokke did not seek or support the kind of publicity that she received. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society connected Stokke's case to that of American soccer athletes Alex Morgan and Hope Solo. Both were accused of being sexualized and their image on the internet was framed in a way they claimed was devaluing their athletic achievements. In their Technology power and culture in the network society, Brett Hutchins and David Rowe compared Stokke with American soccer players Hope Solo and Alex Morgan who were idolized. The authors further stated that the comments on social media are frequently insensitive. Many of the comments drew comparisons with Brandi Chastain's performance at 1999's FIFA Women's World Cup final celebration wearing a sports bra in which the athletic accomplishments of women were largely ignored due to discussions regarding their looks. An online journalist took photos of Stokke's athletic performance in New York, early in 2007. With Leather sports blog, with an extensive male following published the image in May. The article was titled Pole Vaulting is Almost Legal and also commented on Stokke's sexiness. Matt Ufford threatened to file lawsuit against the photographer, should the photo not be taken down. But by then the article and images had gained a great deal of attention. Stokke quickly earned a following after a dedicated website was created with images of Stokke performing her skills during the pole vault. The images then spread via social media to hundreds of fans on the internet. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. Caron wanted to finish her graduation from high school in Florida. The internship was the first step in her new career when she finished high school. Alyce's proud to be the sister of a college professor. The family of her mother is very extremely supportive of her sister who is a professor at a university. Alyce as well as her family live in Texas since her father is a soldier in the U.S. Army. The family celebrated the 92nd birthday of their father just three years in the past. Alyce took to social media to share an amazing photo of her daughter, and to acknowledge the contribution her father's contribution in his country through the U.S. Army. The daughter of Alyce is focused on her education. She is a recipient of the National Merit award at the University of Washington and was able to celebrate her 22nd birthday on 2022.
