Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor and model who is especially active in Indian cinema. She was also the runner-up from the year 2006 Miss Sri Lanka Universe pageant. Fernandez was raised in a family with Canadian, Sri Lankan and Malaysian heritage. She spent her early time in Bahrain. After receiving a mass communications degree from University of Sydney, she worked for a time in Sri Lanka as a television reporter for some time before beginning to enter the world of modeling. Following her participation in Miss Universe 2006, she was one of the most sought-after models in Sri Lanka. When she was on a professional trip in India in 2009, Jasmine was given the role of Aladin by Sujoy Ghosh. The role that she landed her first big break came in 2011 when she was given the role of lead actress Priya in the film 'Murder 2'. Fernandez has had a stellar career in the aftermath of this film that was a huge success on the box office and in the eyes of reviews.
